If he has international aspirations going forward, which im sure he does, he is far more likely to do it as a 9 than a 13.
Only a personal view but I would not want to see Scott Murrell at hooker on a regular basis.
Murrell has a chronic lack of pace and this is what prevents him from being a really top player (IMO).
It's not that he simply lacks pace - plenty of players do. Murrell is much slower than that. You can forget all about quick scoots from the ruck, which is such a feature for many hookers.
It's best to put him where this weakness is least exposed and for me that is loose forward. He has improved a lot since he went there and I don't think we need to move him.
