Im all for renaming ppv's but where is the fun of changing names to just that of types of matches.
Take the last one as an example 'Hell In A Cell' brings up memories of Mankind Vs Taker and that kind of thing.
Dont you think that having a ppv named 'Hell In A Cell' and then having 3 of those kind of matches devalues the whole 'Hell In A Cell' idea somewhat?

Yeah my understanding was him and HBK are on retiring at WM next year after been inducted into the HOF. God knows how WWE will cope without them.

Hey anyone else heard about this Hulkamania touring fed? Been put together by Hogan and Eric Bischoff, doing a short tour in Aus later this year, would love to go to a UK one.
Only bad thing is Ric Flair is wrestling for them. Don't get me wrong I think he's awesome and a legend, but there is no way he could ever top that 'retirement' match with HBK last year, so by returning for another (smaller) group in front of smaller crowds it just reduces the meaning of last year's WM IMO.

I'd agree 100% mate - it's overkill. Matches like Hell in a Cell and Elimination Chamber should be done maybe only once a year (one match that is), so that fans look forward to it, and it keeps it fresh.
The problem over the years is that the likes of Taker, Foley and HBK set such high standards for HIC for example, that guys like Cena, Batista, Orton etc will never be able to match.

I would like to see how many of the current crop would be willing to be choked slammed through the top of the cell to the ring below.
I would be even more interested how many would be willing to be thrown from the top of the cell onto the annoucers desk.
Now think that Mick did both of those things in the same match!!
Someone is now going to say that this happened in one of the matches that just happened arn't they as I didn't see it.

tbf, foley never actually PLANNED to be chokeslammed thru the top of the cage. it's just the cage itself gave way under the weight of both foley and taker

The off the top throw though was all about Foley being a nutter.
Infact didn't Foley state that Taker asked him if he was sure he wanted to do it just before he threw him off in Foley's book?
I loved that fact that Foley stated that he had 1 of his teeth in his nose (I think that was where he said it was) after he bounced off the ring.
Most people would have just died there and then Foley just got up
