A big part of him coming to Hull will be the role he plays bringing on the likes of Turner, Tansey, Washbrook and
freeing up Richard Horne. The best thing I've read so far from his book is the slating he gave Noble for not doing enough ball skills in training and not establishing a gameplan 4 days before a game. Considering we appear not to do any gameplanning whatsoever, I'm hoping he uses his influence to demand we start doing so. Given his career to date, I think it's fair to say there are interesting times ahead at FC. Could be a huge success or a massive disaster, but doubt it will be quiet mediocrity.
This really irritates me this thing about "freeing up Richard Horne". He's a class runner of the ball but he ain't no off-half and never has been. Even supporting half-backs/off-halfs (or whatever you want to call them) have to have more to their game than just a running game.
Last season it only took Cooke or Dobson to have a decent game and we'd win comfortably.
The fact of the matter is that Richard Horne has been nothing since Paul Cooke moved East IMO same goes for Yeaman (AKA Sid the Snail)..
