What a dismal situation for us long suffering supporters when the biggest celebration we can muster is at the relief of a player we haven't signed - wouldn't real good news be a pleasant change?

I think as someone else has said that the club are waiting to build on the wave of apathy they have worked hard to build up by announcing all the big signings we have in one go.
I see that we have lost 3 or 4 class players and havent replaced any of them except maybe Myler with the lad from Celts/Saints? for me the one we will miss most is Stapleton who has without doubt been the cornerstone of our pack for the past two seasons .
If there is one marque signing to be announced then let's hope that it is a prop in the Stapo mould (who for me was potentially the new Dai Young if we'd have kept him for a few years and made him captain).

To be fair I think he'd be a fantastic signing...I know he's got his flaws (and plenty of them) but he's massive and on top of his game he knocks people around and makes big, big yards...also we need a pack leader now our best and most consistent prop Stapo has gone home...bring him in!!

i think the supporters should club together to get him here would be the biggest signing in the clubs history, lets see if mr. wilkinson will use the myler tranfer fee to pay for his salary and show we have some ambition, we have a quota spot left as simms was talking to an aussier three quarter not so long back, but we will probably end up with some fat lazy "prop" someone like danny sculthorpe
