I dont profess to know much about the behind the scenes stuff at the club, but this came from someone who does.

GML or Zod?

guess we'll agree to disagree about sam as i have it from a great source that rovers did make an approach. Glad we kept him though. Our pack is looking very aggressive and also very experienced if we can keep them fit

If we approached him we would have signed him, We never went anywhere near him and it was just scare mongering for his agent to push through the Hull deal.

HULL KINGSTON ROVERS is my religion, Craven Park is my church and Jordan Abdull is my God

What an arrogant attitude!

Joel Clinton would be a top signing for Rovers to work alongside Vella. FWIW you could also do with a Moa type player to compliment these two as well.

And a hooker...

Utter tosh. The club made it clear that they were chasing an overseas back with the Moa option as back-up. That's why it dragged on. The club have made a big fuss about Long, O'Meley and Fitzgibbon, but not Moa. Personally I'd have preferred a back as we've too many forwards IMO, but Moa is an OK signing.

Indeed. Surely the massive club that is Hull KR didnt miss out on a transfer target, who'd have thought. Interesting to see no signings announced yet.
