Or would you expect him to fit under the elastic salary cap at Wire?

Oh you meant the salary cap the challenge cup holders have not broken and Wigan have....the one that is now a live system. These trophy baron years seem to be making you very bitter.

Ah trotting out the tired old 'spirit of the cap' rule that didn't exist, and buying into the hype that we have a 'live cap' like your bank account

I am not in the least bit bitter thank you very much. On the other hand you seem very touchy on the subject considering no where have I claimed Wire have broken the cap. Indeed on here and the other Wigan site you no doubt frequent I have kept saying there is no way clubs can break the cap since it went live despite people wittering on about image rights and God knows what else.
That doesn't mean it's wrong to wonder how Wire seemingly fit their current squad under the cap and my post you replied to was just a bit of irony suggesting the reason CAM may have thought he would not come here would be to go to the club who could best accommodate him under the the cap, which on recent form would be Wire.
BTW, if you want to play with the big boys expect what lies behind your clubs success to be questioned.

You're right in that sense, there are however ways perfectly in the rules where you can pay a player more than their Salary cap value without breaking the cap at all Oh i love the RFL.
