The season started last night and the Blackhawks started today with a shootout loss to the Panthers in Helsinki.

Blueshirts drop to the Pens 3-2 in the opener in Pittsburgh. Home game tonight at 00:00 BST against Ottawa at the garden. Then on Monday another season long rivalry with the Devils begins in Jersey.

Chicago bounced back from the SO loss yesterday to beat the Panthers 4-0 with Niemi getting the shutout.

I wouldn't be too worried as you've played 2 of the best teams in the league in Boston and Philly.
