Best players in their respective teams mate, thats all I was getting at. Leeds two best prop forwads are overseas players. Rovers scrum half, leader, is an aussie, their second row combo is from aus, hull's best creative player is an aus, etc.

I was just trying to make a point, and kylie leuluai and ali lauitiiti are certainly up there with Peacock.
Anyways, care to discuss my point instead of just trying to pick out nitty gritty errors
has he moved to prop?
well your point is you want more overseas players to keep the standard of super league high?
well i disagree what i want us to do is treat youth development very seriously.
why cant we produce backs to a international standard? why cant we produce coaches? but why should we when we can bring in overseas players?

For gods sake, he's a forward, he's better than any of our or your props put together, even if he would be playing out os position.
But, I think your arguments backwards to be honest. We cannot produce players to the quality of the likes of israel falau, a home grown talent in australlia. We produce very bog standard young talent. It's no fault of our own, its just the fact that rugby league isn't what kids want to play, they want to play football, or the standard of coaching at youth level isn't good enough to fulfil youngsters drive.
Yes, one or two gems come through, but they're not a patch on the aussie talent, so we're never gonna compete on the international stage with them. We've had the same faces time and time again in the international set up which shows th talent isn't being produced fast enough or the talent coming through isn't good enough.
That's why, the quality of football on show is going to be poor, because teams will have their hand forced to include below par youngsters in their squads. Not all teams can birng players through at the standard of ryan hall, or scott moore.
That was all I was saying, I'd rather be qatching quality standard rugby every week, than seeing a side full of average young english players.

Are you disappointed with the signings of O'Meley, Lauaki, Moa and Fitzgibbon, then? Relieved that Crocker didn't block Burnett's progression?Genuine questions.
