Not sure on fisher, I can understand why he went with chaz tho'. We looked seriously lacking when we lost chev at Leeds and the bench that day couldn't cope with a loss in the centres.
I think jm had serious concerns over murrell and even brisc and as such had a bench to cope with it.
Makka has had issues and was out of form badly.
Stan has looked about a month away from being able to have an impact, he's looked his age and in a game that was going to be tight would have too much of a risk. If he had been picked jm would have been slaughtered for playing the sentmental pick.
On the personal issue thing and Cooke, yes he dropped him for discipline reasons, rightly so and would expect any coach to do the same.

cant understand going without a hooker at all.fisher any day over chaz who did score a good try but bad at acting half and only average player in my opinion.fitz doesnt take the right options and slow around ruck. think its a personal issue and it didnt come off for him

So were a lot of players and he wasn't used fully in the hooking role at Leeds. Fitzy played dummy half most of the game from full-back so its hardly surprising Fisher didn't show up too well.

Not to have a recognised hooker out there on Sat night was a mistake.
This! When you consider that Wigan had Riddell, McIlorum and Leuluai (who's a far better hooker than SH) we were always going to struggle, and that is exactly what we did.

Far too simplistic.
I do think that it was a mistake to leave Fisher out, but that is categorically not the reason we're no longer involved in this season.
For fifty five minutes we stayed well away from the game plan and were abjectly poop. You can't do that against a Noble (no matter how far his stock has fallen) coached team in play off rugby and expect to win.
Rabbits in the head lights for large portions of Saturday nights game.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

To be fair though that doesn't really answer him.
To the OP I think you're 100% right, and IMO it's disgusting, and is likely to keep costing us in future. We really could have used the spark of a creative player like Fish at various points during the game Saturday. This policy Morgan has is something that needs addressing.
