No it is commonly acknowledged as being more of a level playing ground and closer competition.
It was far harder to progress due to the fact there was no salary cap. FACT
Rovers have been able to progress because they have a near full cap. Sky money has gone up and the cap has stayed the same.
It is far easier to come into super league and compete quicker now, as Rovers, Castleford and Catalans have proven

Yet while those teams have come into SL, Leeds and Saints have remained at the top end while your shower have stuck themselves in reverse and put their foot down.
Comply or die, my friend.
You've stolen my washing From out my back garden You've tarmacked my driveway Even though I said no You've nicked my lead flashing And weighed it in at the scrappy Oh St Helen's tatters Come rob me again

Is that the Castleford that went down, came back up and prompty went back down again.
Or the Catalans that finished rock bottom in their first season.
Rovers didnt compete in 07 they survived.

No it doesn't.
Catalans would have been relegated in their first season if not for the special dispensation and Cas would have been relegated AGAIN last season but for the licensing process, so if anything it proves his point to be completely wrong

Was the poster referring to when we had relegation or was he making a point that it is easier to compete and finish well due to salary cap now:wink:
Thats very true, so I wouldnt have gone on a message board knocking Hull FC when they were doing better then us, makes you look stupid when you knock a team who is doing better then you.
