Wouldn't disagree with that too much. IMO his main failings are a lack of consistency and a tendency to make daft mistakes. Useful cover and likely to be relatively inexpensive.

I agree, though in fairness he has been played in pretty much every position on the park over the past couple of years so the apparent lack of consistency and silly mistakes are kind of understandable.
Too many people on these boards write players off too easily and fail to see the bigger picture.

Certainly won't have helped, especially as he gets played in the centres where it's difficult to defend without enough game time (or training) to really learn the ropes.
The frustrating thing has always been that he clearly has some talent and ability - he just demonstrates it far too infrequently.
