Bury Broncos v Waterhead
Eccleston Lions v Blackburn Knights
Hindley v Westhoughton Lions
Newton Storm v Bolton Mets
Rochdale Cobras v Chorley Panthers
St Helens Wild Boar v Wigan Bulldogs

It’s looking like Hindley are the team to beat, us at cobras had a torrid time at waterhead last week, played poop and underestimated em, few 1st teamers in but not enough to use it as an excuse just a good big side!

Yeah they'll win alot more than they lose this year - Obviously I fancy us to finish top ;) but I see you guy's and Waterhead challenging very strongly

Don't think you will have any trouble really, hit them hard first 5 minutes and the game is yours.

I'm hoping Blackburn turn up tomorrow as we need the game to try and build on our recent results.

Think the predictions are probably right, although for some reason I can see the Wild Boars v Wigan Bulldogs game being abandoned

3 or 4 games in - any regerets about moving up by any of the teams who have moved up? (Cobras and Hindley need not reply!)

None. It's a refreshing change to know the game is 90% certain to go ahead. We've had one postponement due to both team's pitches being waterlogged. Yes there are some one-sided results, but that's not exclusive to Div 5.

Last year, several times we went weeks and weeks without a game due to teams not turning up, having insufficient numbers, etc. Normally 'A' teams. That coupled with pitches sometimes being unplayable meant a very frustrating season.

Our big problem is we are following Hindley in the league fixtures!!

This means they hammer a team, that team then don’t want to get another big score against em so give the game away.

I do hope this weekend was a one off!!!!

we have Westhoughton Lions this Wednesday night (they have a stag party on Saturday) just hope it goes ahead, we need games to get things right!!!!
