am still on a high from halifax town aging to a team top of the blue square north and winning 2-0 in the fa cup.

a couple of chances droylsden had in the second half that would have gone in on another day. maybe were destined to get to the 1st round or further this year.

maybe halifax can have a home tie for the first time in this competition.

That's all any team can ask for.

I have a feeling it will be Eastwood away for Ilkeston next in the local grudge match neither team wants at this stage.

when you have been away in the first 3 rounds so far hopefully we can get a home tie.

Fair play hate the fact it is so regionalism though as our section has four or five other BS North sides in it so chances are there may not be many easy draws in there as there are also a few decent Unibond teams such as Hucknall and Buxton about too.

i think that if halifax can get anyone at home then i am confident we can pick up a result.

am not so confident going away to higher clubs. with a 1500 fan base at the shay and a big stadium with a nice playing surface i would be confident of beating anyone at the shay even upto the blue square north sides.

Its not the draw alot of sides would want and I am sure you could beat a lot of BS North sides at home and probably the likes of Redditch, Solihull, Stafford etc away.
