Tonight was closure on Rovers best season for the best part of 25 years.
A double over Saints, continued domininance over Hull FC.
4th in the league ladder, 4 Dream Team players.
Attendances standing firm in the face of a recession coupled with an away following thats the best and most vocal in the British game.
Players committing themselves to extended contracts along with the best young coach in the game also extending his stay.
The emergance of Kris Welham who played in every single league and cup game.
Roots of strong Academy and Reserve sides growing firmer.
Its a work in progress that has improved year on year for the last 5 seasons.
Compare that to your club and it puts things into perspective so enjoy your night.

No offence but with all that back slapping there is no wonder Rovers fans get so much stick on RLFans.

You talk rubbish GML, how do we compare your list above with the winning of the 9's and the fairplay league, which as we all know is the true mark of a top team, Leeds must be spitting feathers at missing out on these two top prizes

So basically your admitting to yourself there, that Rovers have had there best season for 25 years and it ends with a season were you have lost every big game this season. Wire in the cup, Leeds and Wigan in the play offs ? Your calling this all a success ? Are you for real ?
Compare this to a club who have reached a major final in the last two seasons and still claim that there seasons was failure. Now that puts things into perspective, you guys are flash in the pans and we are the bigger club.

Losing your two play off games is the mark of a top team is it ?

I was there today, I think a lot of rovers fans talked a lot of sense as well. Sadly, I fear a lot of what you have said is true. I do believe that it is not all as rosey as you think though. Fozzard has gone cos you cannot afford him for example. However, you recruitment policy of up and coming players is to be admired. A lot of people will disagree, but then I don't really care.

A season that promised so much and delivered so little. Your away support is notoriously over exaggerated, you played saints when they were out of sorts twice, we've been crap all season. None of your academy has broke into the 1st team except Welham who is crap and will be replaced by Ratu and to top it all off you have 2 bites of the cherry and embarrass yourselves. Well done
