How quickly the worm turns and how fickle Giants fans are.

Fulton came in as a stop gap when we lost Carney.

he may not have been a woprld beater but he offered us something that none of our other second rowers did. He has one of the best long kicking games i can remember a Giants player doing.

When raleigh or wild starting kicking penalties 40 metres to touch or putting huge up n unders up i will say that he kept another second rower out. His tackling was phenomenal must be as good as Wilds. ( will check stats later).

He did a good job for us we are only having a go because some saw him as a replacement for carney as i did to an extent. Maybe in the cold light of day we can see what he did.

he was not the gamebreaker we hoped but he did a solid job. IMHO opinion he was no worse than jammer or Whaturia this season and no one is calling them a waste of space

Huddersfield Giants 2013 over achievers

Huddersfield Giants 2014 under achievers ??????????

i think he has done an ok job.
but a job someone already over could do surely?
i think looking at last night we have to admit we are desperate for 2 quality half backs, fulton/brown and robbo have done well but i feel we need some proper world class halfves now.

totally agee with Durham giant. I think he maybe one of the best tacklers/defenders I've seen in the English game. I think he has been a real asset and am sad to see him go. Last night highlighted our need for a world class half back! Simple for me, but what a season. Well done Browny and a side 10th in the league last year, who had most of the same players!

I thought Fulton was very good indeed and he will be a loss to us for his kicking game at least. With Gilmour and Fa'alogo coming we will have qualities in the second row but IMO only Pat Richards had a kicking game for finding touch better than Fulton.

Liam Fulton as been good for the Giants and im sure the Giants have been good for him, a typical Aussie great tackler. Worked hard for us and helped in our massive improvement this year. Also love to see his high kicks. Thanks Liam and all the best for your futur rugby carear back in Australia.

Perhaps you're right DG, but I was expecting a playmaker, and thats the role he was put in a lot of the time, and he didnt deliver there.

Maybe he was too busy making tackles to give us some spark in attack.

I would agree , very poor indeed.

He offered nothing against Cats IMO.

I thought it was damn near impossible to be worse than Mick De Vere!!! but he was poor all he did was the high kicks like somebody has said previously
