Strangely i find myself agreeing with Marsden on this one. Is that a first
Robbo is not the most creative SH and does have a limited kicking game.
He has his strengths particularly running , backing up, making breaks. On that basis i understand that Brown is looking at playing him as hooker.
If that is the case then it would seem his strengths are going to be built upon and emphasised in the teams selection and tactics next year.
Despite this Robbo does have his strengths at SH but needs other players around him to bring that out. With brown doing the organising and the forwards winning the battle up front Robbo looked good.
If those players around him are doing badly his limitations are exposed.
What he does have in buckets is wanting to try his hardest, that often forces him to do too much when he is trying to make up for the teams defecits. That same criticism however is true of Brett.
At the end of the day he gives 100%. Whether he is limited in certain areas i can usually overlook when i see someone giving 100%. It is alck of trying i cannot accept.
