Systems in place??
Can you elaborate?
Do you mean not paying over the odds, on a lengthy deal, limiting you going forward?
I'm gonna spit all over you, by accident of course.

I'd imagine that having Senior, Coady, Watkins and Delaney signed up means they don't need him. Much the same with Ashley Gibson, simply not room under the salary cap or he's elected to take a two year deal with us as opposed to a one year deal with them
HULL KINGSTON ROVERS is my religion, Craven Park is my church and Jordan Abdull is my God

This is similar to fox, murrell and scruton where we had a good squad and that's taken into account when new deals are negotiated.
Sometimes players accept the terms and stay to fight for a spot and on other occasions they accept the better offer and leave it's that straight forward and although like i said before i'd of liked him to stay and it could bite us GH has been very successfull in running the club this way.

Lets see if Justin can get the best out of him
or even more plausible, cover for chev who is likely to be out all next season

Do you see Chev being offered a new deal?
If he was to be paid off, which is a possibility, I should imagine the pay off and Ratu's wages won't be too far off....which in fairness is probably good business as at least you get a player on the pitch for the same money.
If paying both.............

they can also just de register him and then give him a 1yr contract if he makes it back to prove himself worthy of another contract
Stan Butler wrote:How does the de-registering work??....would that make Chev a free agent??
yes. but i would feel that they may negotiate some form of informal agreement for him to see his last year out, hence the 1 yr option when back from injury
