But, it's gonna take a real big effort to beat Wakefield/Catalans first. Let's hope they click for next Saturday.

Is this some sort of wind-up? I've stated many times how much I rate Morgan. He wouldn't have hung Hall out to dry at Full Back. He'd probably have put Richard Horne there once Tony and Byrne were done (round 2) rather than wait for Richard to suggest it to him. He would have played Whiting in a creative role. He wouldn't have played Lee Radford at "loose forward" all season. He would have had a gameplan to maximise what was available and target opposition weaknesses. Delusional maybe, but I think we would be playing this weekend if Morgan were coach.
Leeds would have beaten any side in sl lastnight, they are the stand out side in the comp and i'd be shocked if they don'twin it this year. I got the impression after they went 12 up we switched off a bit, or our heads went down. Next week is a new game and we need to get up for it.

This is about you lot claiming all season when we've had an average of 6 players out injured, 1 that never arrived and 1 that played 3 games, that lack of available personnel makes no difference to performances and results. As said already, the boots on the other foot for one match with 4 out and 1 in-game injury and it's some sort of impossible crisis.

"We came up short and we'll be upset for 24 hours before we get ready for next week.
"We'll bounce back. We don't sulk and feel sorry for ourselves. I'm still very confident in the ability of our team. Adversity makes you stronger."
I think this is a rhetorical device called "praeteritio", ie claiming to not make much of something but by doing so intentionally giving undue focus to it. Like claiming you don't make much of injuries, but spending 30%+ of a press conference moaning about them.
