Just to let evryone know, Chev's operation went well last night, he's awake this morning and in good spirit. I spoke to a nurse on his ward in Leeds Royal Infirmary who informed me he may need a 2nd operation but they won't know until the doctor/surgeon has been to see him today. I'll be going to vsit him at some point this week so I will pass on any well wishes. When I hear from Chev (when he is allowed his mobile phone on) I will update further.

Glad to hear that the op went well. It made me feel ill when I saw it and kind of regretted letting my 4 year old stay up to watch it. The first thing he asked this morning was if Chev Walker was ok and we are Salford fans. Senior must have heard it go cos he didn't even seem to look at it. Credit all round to Senior, medical staff, and fans. Oh and for Walker to be applauding the fans - footballers take note - double hard b*****d.
