Fast forward to now, here we are at the begining of a journey, a journey few would have believed possible even 2 years ago. The first season was a struggle with only the odd good result, but we enjoyed every moment of every game, and we managed it, we managed to stay in the elite competition.
A plan was put in place, survive, consolodate, challenge, a plan many saw as a pipe dream, a plan many thought unachievable, a plan many expected to fail, a plan that Neil Hudgell, Justin Morgan and everyone involved in this great club believed in. Now no one can dispute that the plan outlined has come to fruition, we are indeed now challenging for our place in history, challenging doesn't mean winning, it means exactly that, challenging.
Whatever happens during our first foray in the playoffs, i will remember what we where watching 5 yrs ago, i will enjoy this journey to it's end, wether it be short lived or fruitful, as i can see many more jouneys ahead, each going further, each getting better.
So everbody enjoy tonight, get behind the lads on the field and back them with all your heart and all your soul as only Hull KR fans can, no matter what the result.
A new era is here
We are Hull KR and we are back

Reading that has just got me even more pumped up for tonight, is it too early to drive to Leeds already?!

I've thrown a kettle over a pub, what have you done?

I would like to thank Salford for being soooo rubbish in 2007 it saved our skins and without them being that poor we wouldn't be where we are now...

A slightly different slant to the original post!!!

Nah we've done amazing and nobody can take that away from us. Stevo might have a go at us every week but he has to realise Leeds, Saints, Hudds, Wigan, Catalans (only just)...etc have much more experience than us yet we are still in the top 4 and in such a short space of time.

What was that old saying..."The Futures Bright, The Futures Red and White" (I can still hear Colin McNichol saying that at a fans forum!).

We're coming to make some noise!

With regard to Salford in 2007 , that was the year they were going to kick on after a fairly successful year before.

Fortunately it did not pan out that way.

I can't remember it. Not because I wasn't there, but these days I can't remember what I had for lunch.
