Your progress and investment has been admirable, but other clubs are delivering as well. Ambition is one thing, but you can't have a love-in for Paul Lakin one year for claiming to anyone and everyone that the capacity "will be 14,000 by the start of the 2010 season" then a year later not expect to be reminded of those lofty promises. Your chairman has just said that funding is not in place for the East stand, and the North and South timescales keep slipping. I appreciate you're not on your own, but investing in extra capacity requires confidence that it will be filled, and when you've not had a sellout all season (yet  ) and crowds have not increased vs last year despite running at 2nd/3rd for the majority of the season, you can understand that the business case might be less than compelling.

At what cost have Leigh and Donny had on their moves to new stadia.
They have both put this criteria above what should be the major criteria for SL which is a valid rugby team. Both Leigh and Donny have state of the art stadia and are both getting relegated.

The whole franchise system seems to have this perception surrounding it that stadia is the main criteria, what good is great grounds if the playing staff are so poor no one wants to watch.

We all know our ground needs improving and it is being, if a little slower thanwe would have liked, but we also need to keep improving on the pitch or else whats the point.

They've been effectively stringing the RFL along for all that time.

The franchises as we well know are decided on an array of criteria , and we will be looking to pick up extra points in other areas - ' value to the SL competition' for one :)

The clubs not delivering on promises were delivered a warning letter a few weeks ago and unless you can provide a link i don't believe HKR were one of those clubs.

Perhaps your sccountancy nouse could be better served helping out your landlord, who according to press reports is feeling the pinch

If you go on your own forum i believe there is an ever growing thread headed " SMC late in filing accounts " which is based on an article in the well respected Guardian. Happy reading.

Dave smc don't control food and drink in the stadium emc do.
I would imagine when they increase prices they would increase them at all the stadiums they operate it.
