Let's see what last season's higher crowds brought in terms of profitability - filing deadline for the accounts coming up at the end of the month - then we'll be able to assess whether there is anything to worry about

Also there is evidence of fickle fans 2002-2003, bandwaggoners as you Gateshull fans say, well between 2002 - 2003 you gained 4670 bandwaggoners :lol:

Sky's the limit for you then. Lakin submitted a ground capacity of 14,000 by the start of the 2010 season in Rovers franchise application, so 10,000 Club Rovers members looks a bit half-hearted.

Super League attendances increased by +33% between 2000 (the earliest year stated here) and you joining. In 2000 our attendance was 20% behind the competition average, whereas yours in 2007 was 27% behind.

No reply to the 14,000 capacity submission included in Rovers franchise document I see, and the fact that in that context, 10,000 Club Rovers fans next year would seem a bit of a weak target. Although since reaction to it has been "mixed" to quote your chairman and people still either don't understand it or don't think it represents good value, maybe they're right to dial down expectations.
