If the lad can impress in the reserves and friendlies he has every chance of getting the hooking role at Rovers, he is young, but there are lots of examples of young lads coming good in SL. Not sure on Cockayne but Murrell is not a hooker, he's by far the best 13 we have. Unless we sign a specialist 13 I can't see what we would get by moving one of our most consistant players..

Has been touted as a future hooker by none other than Morgan and i think he'll end up playing there in all honesty.

Pretty much the way i see things.
Murrell played hooker at the KC earlier in the season and was pretty good if memory serves me. Also worth noting that Scott played quite a lot of his Leeds acadamy days at hooker.

Think you'll find Hodgson wasn't being released / freed up /dumped / like Tommy Lee has been. Rovers were prepared to make Hodgson a better offer. Bit of a difference.
