That said, to dominate in the way we did and still concede 2 is a bit of a worry. There are going to be some tough games in this league
Are you comming across for the Ilkeston game?
Vauxhall never looked like scoring and their keeper made a few fine saves too (and a total howler for the second when he let a nothing cross from about 30 yards drift over his head and go in the top corner). To be fair Ilkeston have got a fair few hard games out of the way already (Droylesden, Telford, Corby away, Southport home). Eastwood always lose in the local derby so there are no fears there so I'd say the only really decent sides yet to play are Fleetwood and Alfreton (and again Alfreton is a local derby though the sides have rarely been in the same division). Next week away against Hinckley will be interesting as they have picked up a bit recently and they are a traditionally strong BSN outfit but there is no reason to fear anyone at the moment.
And to be fair they are dominating without the opposition looking like scoring as the keeper rarely does anything more than pluck out a few crosses now and then.
I am in a real dilema about Fleetwood awa as I've got Tamworth season tickets too and that weekend is Luton at home (I think that is a Sunday game now though), It would not take a lot to persuade the misses to go up for the weekend but she might not be so keen if we rush back to catch the Luton game too (my ideal situation).
To be fair I am watching far more of Ilkeston than Tamworth and if they are up there come April I do not think I will be able to resist a weekend in Blackpool and hoping over for what might be a top of the table encounter and probably give the Tamworth game a miss .
BTW did Corby bring anyone as they get amazingly loud home support (for the size of the gate) but not sure if many of them go away.
