Can't wait till the next one!
I've swayed the other way now, it clearly wasn't the focus group. The fact that he did the last sums himself, and didn't show anyone confirms this IMO.
I suspect it was like the pyramid scheme he had for the horse racing one, and the group featured on TV were the ones who had had some lucky success and there were plenty of other focus groups who were thanked for their time but had failed.
It will be interesting to see if anybody comes out with anything from any of these other groups.

I don't agree, he watched the draw live with the group so how did he do that with more than one?

If what you suggest is true I'm sure they will have all had to sign secrecy agreements

There is no way the machine was fixed. Derren Brown is a master of suggestion, misdirection and suspense. He never does anything illegal. The high-up's at C4 would have had to know the secret in order to allow it to go ahead and they would never sanction a law-breaking exercise that effectively screwed over half the country (those who bought tickets).

Camera trickery, pure and simple....though he ain't ever going to admit to it....
Totaly right. He just whipped his focus group up into believing that they had predicted six balls but did you notice that he never showed them what their prediction was before he left. When he got four balls correct, it was pure luck. Two or three right would have been just as convincing from his point of view to get his group into believing that they had worked together. What a load of tosh

He was very precise when he was explaining at the end (100 g balls) etc

Of course it wasn't fixed. I think he put that bit at the end just to confused people like The Jigga Jigga, here.
