hate to admit it but dobson has been the best 7 in s.l this year.brough is good on his day but does bring baggage wherever he goes.i dont think deacon has a great handling game n burrows is more of a great evasive support player(not that he isnt a good 7 tho).the only way thorman would be a 7 would be in union(a right flanker i believe)

Brough would get in any SL team as would Dobson. IMO these two are the best halfs in SL. They are both hubs of creation fortheir respective teams. Cant choose between the two really. Every game brough has been head and shoulders above oppossition half backs bar the odd game.

On form brough being elegible should be a GB halfback in world cup..but it rarely goes on form

id take long as a traditional scrum half, and burrow for the way he fits into the leeds team over brough and dobson,

Dobson would be the last of the four, isnt as good as long or brough and different to burrow

btw, i would ignore most of the publicly available stats, especially the ones on try assists which seems to have no criteria whatsoever
