Teessidewire wrote:Rogues Gallery, I find your comments get more and more unbelieveable. You also have the audacity (as a Wigan Fan) to call St Helens cheats when it was shown and proved that Wigan cheated the Salary Cap by over 250,000. Wigan may have won more than us in the past. You've also won a couple of things that we've never won. One is the World Club Championship (and believe it or not, myself and quite a few other Wire fans were there on that night in 1987 cheering you on), but you've also won something else that we've never won, and probably never will. You've won the Second Division Championship, which no Wigan fan ever seems to remember. Now go back to your Cherry and White self-indulgent Site and leave us while we bask in our moment in the Sun.
No Wigan fan will remember it because we didn't, York won it.
If you're going to argue at least get your facts right. By the way that was one of the most enjoyable seasons I have ever had. We met lots of true RL fans who supported their teams and the game without any of the pretense that they were great.
It was humbling at times you should try it. In Australia last year some of the most passionate supporters were from the likes of Barrow, Whitehaven, Doncaster and Rochdale.

Just to take a step back a little further, who motivated Murphy, Ashcroft, Chisnall, Potter, Clarkson etc etc to move from Leigh to Warrington.
Ossie Davies by any chance?
Isn't it exactly the same now with Myler?
I don't hate anybody but you would try the patience of a saint.
And finally, I've seen Wigan win more in my lifetime than Warrington has won in their history, so obsessed with Warrington, give over and grow up.
Enjoy your day in the sun, I would if I were you.
get your facts right, davies left widnes because they could no longer afford him. am i upsetting you ? i'm older than you so remember a few more warrington wins than you, i also have the belief and insight that wigans glory years had a detrimental effect on the game. it must have been fun being a wigan fan, but by eck it was boring for the rest of us!
yes the myler thing is the same, we poached him from salford, however the rules have been balanced out to give every team a fair shout at it( the dreaded communist cap, as you pies call it)
you still know deep down your a wire "methinks he does protest too much" springs to mind

How old are you?
My first Challenge Cup final was 1959.
My fist game was in 1948 (but I don't remember it) The first game I remember was Wigan v Halifax in the Challenge Cup Semi T Odsal in 1956.
I support the cap, but I think it should be based on a percentage of a clubs income.
Feel free to out any of my posts and feel free to point out where they are anti cap.

First good luck to rich, but please don't believe the soundbites that you will hear about wanting a long career at wire it wont be mylers decision. if offiah gets the call from a club down under then watch what happens and if it does then you will see exactly the same reaction that Widnes and Salford have seen
Rogues Gallery wrote:Didn't Andy Gregory do the same at Widnes and then do the same to Warrington?
His 'written request' for a transfer was "I want a transfer" scribbled on the back of a beermat. In today's climate, if Myler was to do similar, it'd probably be his facebook status.

Is Offiah Ratchfords agent?? If so another decent season from him and there could be the same situation arising with that player, not necessarily involving Warrington, but there would be a few teams interested im sure.
