Thats how I have always seen it. As far as I am concerned the Champions in top flight English Rugby League are the team who win the Grand Final in October. In the past 2 years when we had the CC at no point did the idea of us being Champions cross my mind - that was Leeds because they won the Grand Final.
I remember saintc once arguing on here that Saints were 'Champions of the Challenge Cup'. I thought it was crap then and I do now. Doesn't really matter. We've won it, not bothered what label we get for having done so, just pleased to have it on the sideboard and to get rid of all those 'always next year'; 'year of the wolf' gar-barge.

did you watch the match again when you got home... i'm rather tongue in cheek quoting mr Lee Briers when rather happy he stated "we are the champions of the challenge cup" in his post match interview!

Being a supporter of Warrington RLFC who has never referred to the club as "Warrington Wolves" I haven't got the current badge tattooed (I'm not a complete extremist - I'll wear it on a cap, polo shirt or whatever, but won't have it permanently inked on my person).
Nor do I have a tattoo commemorating Wembley 2009.
I do however have the old "side on" wolf on my arm, as used on the old badge and on the town crest. Underneath that I have WIRE written in Olde English lettering coloured yellow and blue with barbed wire underneath and yellow and blue stars either side.

No sorry. I could take one on my phone but being a bit hopeless with these things I wouldn't know how to put it on my computer in the first place nevermind post it on here.
I do like the fact that it's a bit of a mix of things aligned together (I got them all done seperately over a long period of time) so no one else has the same tat rather than something generic like the badge which loads will have.

the standard run of the mill tatts are just that. the tatts that really stand out are the ones with originality and uniqueness.

Speaking of which, who was it who started that inane and god awful chant of "That's why we're champions"?
