TBH, he does make errors, but the tend to be minor, he more than makes up for it with what he does right, such as his kicking game. We know he isn't the best tackler in the game, but how many of the true playmakers and organisers ever have been across the years. I think that the rest of our team can make up for his lapses in defence (although he is getting better) if he keeps digging out 30 and 40 yards with his kicks and creating tries for others with his short kicks behind the line he cancels those out IMO.
He is also very deceptive close to the line and scores a fair whack of tries himself, mainly due to the opposition not knowing what he is going to do.
