how come we took more to celtic and london than we did to leeds etc

The away attendances are improving. We're nowhere near as bad as some try to make out.

It's actually a very good point.

At Wire we have seen a lot less from probably every team, including the likes of Wigan and Saints, which would usually be sellouts.

We have taken a lot less to away games too, and I think in the current climate fans will consider what they will spend their money on much more carefully. For example, the only away games I have been to this year were Edinburgh, Barcelona and Wembley, but the money I will have spent on those three will have been far higher than any previous year!

a lot of people will of had the celtic trip planned for a while with it being the first chance to go there and also the last chance as they will be playing at newport next season

danril made a very good point about the catalans and bradford games last season regarding average attendances

last season the following games were promotional games

Home v Leeds (Loads of freebies to University)
Home v Bradford (Kirklees Games)
Home v Catalans (Free entry for everyone except Season Ticket holders who had already paid.

What crowd will you get on sunday i would hope around 8k.
