And herein lies the difference between Hull and Rovers at present. You'd prefer to sign a "big name" who has been there, done it, and worn the jersey regardless of their current age/fitness.

Rovers on the other hand sign players with something to prove and a desire for success, at an age where they are not over the hill and coming into their prime.

He's a top player and one I wouldn't mind seeing in a Rovers shirt, but big names with impressive cv's don't always win you games, as you well know.
