got it in one, he never praises either Hull club. We barely got a mention from SKY in 2006 until about a week before the grand final when Stevo thought he'd hedge his bets and suggest Hull had a chance of winning it.

The sky commentators arent worth getting wound up about, just think how sweet it will be when we win the GF and they HAVE to eat their words .... Mind you we will have had the rub of the green, the benefit of some dodgy refereeing decisions and our tries probably will come against the run of play and our opposition were missing a few players

I am glad its not just me. I have a love of this old game & have been around it as long as the idiot Stevo (He was no angel on the field or off it) I am sure ther are a clique of people who are pulling the strings egged on by Sky who have thier own agenda for the game & I dont think they are interested in the Challenge cup or anything that is not super league & seeling satalite dishes. Don't get me wrong I am a unrepentant expansionist & wellcome the inclusion of the French sides along with Celtic & London I just feel that the game (the super league bit) can keep growing as long as we keep a check on our costs. I see no need to relagate any side just add to the franchise as the American sports do. But when I hear the idiot saying we dont want this in our game when we have a scuffle on the pitch I wonder where he is comming from? of course we want it in our game we all like a bit of spice in the game its the only excitement most of us get in our lifes. I is often the odd remark in his comentry or interviews on sport news you get a glimps of the real stevo & I feel his views are in favour with the paymasters of the game, he must have a foothold in the Murdock empire as he isn't employed for his commentry or journalistic skills, Even Ray french is better & more ballanced.
If you read the RL express, Stevo's column is a joke as well. I can't think of the last time I heard him mention a Hull team unless it's something negative happening. It's usually 5 or 6 Leeds / Saints articles and big chunk of Wigan and not a lot else.
The man is a fool. The comment about wire having 3 tries dissallowed, us getting 2 breakaway tries and ifs and buts was just ridiculous. He might as well have just said if wire had scored more points then us they'd have won.
