That's always been my concern whenever we've spoken about moving Jeremy Smith to hooker but I think his defence is actually a little bit better than he is given credit for. I mean I'm not saying he's amazing or anything but I'm pretty sure he's had a few games where he's made 30+ tackles this season. I still feel like he would possibly be targetted as a weak link should he make the move to 9.
Out of the two smith's matty would provide more pace at the PTB but will only be on in 20 minute stints, and out of the two i would rather matty be getting more game time than jeremy
Alker to loose, wouldn't provide anything in the second row, swain and adamson SR, all we need now is to sign two props, one hopefully boyle and the other someone like korkidas to replace stapo, added to that a centre, gibson maybe, a SR paul johnson would be a good signing and a full back/ winger depending on where wilshere plays
johnnys going home i am afraid 2 tell u and i have heard we are being linked with a another back from celtic a winger so i am told
Instead of Tommy Lee, why not Ask about Jon Clarke? With Myler and Briers in their halves, Monaghan and Higham Sharing the hooking role, Grix and Bridge Covering the halves, Jon Clarke must surely be available
Also with Wilshere possibly leaving what about Leroy Cudjoy on Loan, wont get much game time at FB with Hodgson Clearly first choice, would be a perfect replacement can kick goals and british?

He is Hudds first choice winger and in fine form, why would they even think about letting him go on loan? Aspinwall on the other hand might be available?
Reds have already started their recruitment plans for next season and, according to football manager Steve Sims, at least five or six new players will come in to bolster the ranks.

i persume he will be one of our higher earners so it makes sense to let him go and sign a young lad, like that lad from leeds were supposed to be after?
