I was thinking that, myself.
Winning the CC is great for drumming up interest in your own town, but I don't think it has the national kudos that it used to have because everyone now knows it's nothing like the test that winning the Grand Final is.
Warrington are clearly going the right way. Smith seems to have straightened out a lot of the Wire idiots, and if they pull off all these signings, they'll be a force to be reckoned with - but they're still something like 10th in the league. Not well placed in that respect.

I didnt mean for the rest of this season, anyway, if the fluff that goes around on here Noble is an idiot and we will be knocked out in the first week of the play offs anyway.
For 2010 Wire will finish well above us in the league, that is without doubt.
Wire finish above us in the League next year, are you kidding?
Last night was told when Clarke is fit, Tony Smith will go with him and Higham at 9 with Monaghan going back to his best position of 7.
Cracker is that!!!!!!!!!
So how's this wonder team with the best coach in the World going to go on at HKR tomorrow night?

It depend on who comes in for wire next year as to whether they'll finish above us, if they do succeed in getting Myler, Atkins and another prop to replace Rauhihi then they could well finish above us, one big advantage wire have over us and most others in superleague is there frontrow.
Wigan vs Leeds finals aggregate score.

Wigan wins - 6 Leeds wins - 0

did anything come of the press conference on Thursday. The usual Wigan rumour mill was in overdrive again with some posters believing Mcguire was going to be announced with the season ticket prices been due out. Not heard anything since. I.m assuming that its again no news on the coaching/signings saga.
