Now, would Briscoe of played if he was fit? Yes he would of.
So why put when i mentioned T.Briscoe.
I did not say his name because i am been biased, i said his name because he is a fantastic player, with a huge futre ahead of him.
Rant over.
I was talking about Tom Briscoe, there is no way he would have kept Fox out of the side even if he was fit. He was selected to gain experience from any get togethers. Similar to Westerman and Mccarthy Scarsbrook

I cant believe how blinkered Hull FC fans really are about the two Briscoes and their "speed".
A winger a long long time ago could get by on just speed alone, now it takes strength, the ability to catch, tackle and drive a ball out being mullered by much bigger players in the middle of the pitch. To add to this Fox at Headingley was hardly gunning for victory, he has his main job at stake and needs to be fully fit for the play offs if he is to regain his England shirt for the 4 nations something that is very special to him.
Although Gardner is a pretty good player as are the two Briscoes (even though they aint 100% wingers) and R.Hall is having a very good season to even think Tony Smith wouldn't inclued Fox in his first choice 13 is ludricus and could only come out of the mouths of bitter Hull FC fans.
Fox in pre-season was the second fittest player at Rovers, the strongest back and according to Ben Galea is the fastest player he's ever played with or against. I personally think Ben spoke before thinking because there are evidently faster players than Foxy but his overall wing play is by far and away up there with the best.
Hull fans winding up Rovers fans about Fox coming 7th is on the back of Rovers fans and players claiming he is the fastest player in super league. The same way Rovers fans get laughed on the VT, its the outrageous claims. If you would have kept your mouth shut it hardly would have been mentioned.

Problem is those that came before him would come way behind him in the weights room FACT, they would probably come way behind him in the stamina testing, and not to mention defensive ability.
Foxy is by far not a finished product but he's a lot further ahead of anyone you've mentioned. And before you mention Raynor, I like my wingers to run forward and think he's more at stake of losing his international place to a youngster than Foxy is.
