Our coaches do not select on sentiment - Myler, Highton etc. know this. Just because some spotty pupil, with a college computer, types garbage as his teen-idol has not been made captain does not make Littler anything but a great. I expect you to understand this.
You are entitled to your opinion but it is wrong.
My teen sporting idol is Mike Atherton and I think Ordsall Red's is Norman Whiteside and I'm pretty sure neither of us want them captaining Salford.

Who was Peter Smethurst an international for? It certainly wasn't Great Britain. And Leigh won trophies cos they had the worlds greatest scrum half coaching and playing for them, AJ Murphy. Enuf sed.
