"It's been a really tough decision and an emotional one and at Hull they've got a lot of good young hookers and a lot of good back rowers as well, so I think there's more chance of breaking into the first team at Rovers."
Pretty much sums it up. Way behind Houghton and Berro and needs to move for the good of his career. Good luck to him.

Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.
Quite sad, really!

I meant in terms of the pecking order. I've seen him play 4 or 5 times btw .

I don't think he's way behind Houghton, but he is behind. Only a year's difference between them in age. Will be really interesting to compare this time next year. Chances are he'll have overtaken Houghton by then, given our current record.

Fourth choice after Tommy Lee. But yes, it was unlikely he was going to make the step up to the first team in the next few years while Berrigan is here and will get his chance to sign at Rovers.
