Are you suggesting that he's good? If that was the case why is he overlooked for Welham who is by no means a world beater.

Welham has been excellent this year and is rightly picked at centre in front of Chev. That doesn't make him a bad player though I think reddan was referring to Chev's recent performances in the forwards, were he has been very good.

Totaly relevant. Now we've had a chance to get things in order for the last few years, things are taking the correct course.

They don't just appear out of nowhere, you know. We needed to be in SL to attract the top youngsters in the area. Now you don't have a virtual monopoly on them, look what's starting to happen....

Its only the second season that we have had an Academy side!

So what you're basically saying is you haven't really produced any decent youngsters yet which is why you want to steal ours, which is what i said in a previous post.

Nope. I'm mainly talking about signing the young amatuers of the city and developing them. Our academy is doing excelently, more so than the reserves. Thhe crop of new, exciting players we have at that level may produce a few gems in the coming years. And then if we want to steal any of your "reserve players of the year" aswell, all the better!

They are not 'yours' anymore - the monopoly lapsed when we were promoted (or more realistically when we were not relegated). We don't steal them - we offer contracts and compete for them.
