TBF iv been bored of the league in general this year and cant remember the last time I watched a full game on Sky that didnt involve Leeds. There have been a few decent 1's but in general the way the game has been controlled has killed it for me.

I'm concerned about the internationals at the end of the year. The top 2 clubs seem to have gone backwards compared to last year and whilst other clubs have made advances, individual players and in particular English players from these clubs have not done enough to suggest that we could put together a better performance than last years World Cup.

Is it me or has it been a re-occuring theme just lately on how bleeding great Tony Smith is??

Worked wonders in his time with us and good luck to him but does every thread have to include him???

[watching Mackay testing the curry in the prison kitchens]
Fletcher: Course, he sees 'imself as an authority on curry, he does, on account of where he was stationed in the army.
Rudge: Where? India?
Fletcher: No, Bradford.

No mention of TS by me. I opined (from an England point of view) that the two clubs who provided most of the players weren't playing as well as last year anfd that other clubs whilst having closed the gap were closer to players that weren't playing as well as last year. No matter who the oach of Leeds, St Helens, England or the other clubs are players standards, appear to me, to be lower than last year and this is a problem for the end of season international series.

Don't think we were shocking, we just couldn't get the ball. Although we did drop it once or twice. We weathered the storm and ran out very comfortable winners

England will struggle this year again, the competition lacks any sort of intensity and there isnt even the "raising the game" element as none of the league fixtures matter anymore - dont forget england have a terrible coach as well

Why do league fixtures matter in Aus?
