Broughy was in talks with huddersfield and has an offer from them. He is also very big mates with kear, contrary to opinion on here re kear banning him for 2 games this season. Danny is more than happy at wakefield/ working under kear. However, as most professional sports people, the shirt doesnt matter and money talks...whichever language you speak.
Wakefield are working on a better deal for danny as he rejected the first offer, saying he was able to get more money elsewhere and after all, it is about providing for his family and looking after his self.
as it stands, brough is still a wakefield player and has had offers from huddersfield, 2 other clubs and is waiting on an improved offer from wakefield.
generally speaking, when a player comes wanting more money than we offer, we, wakefield, tend to give them the rough end of the stick and they end up leaving, so i would expect danny to leave wakefield and i expect his new club to be away from yorkshire & the humber
