Why are those three uber spanners in your sig singing in mockney accents if they're from East Hull?[/u]
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Are you ref to Kill Youth Culture? If so I'm not sure if they're all from Hull originally. The lead singer has lived in Hull for many years and he has the same accent when he talks really.
Why the spanners term though? Class band IMO, and the singer's a top guy.
"The Mail understands..." NOTHING!

Didn't think much to their trousers did I? No I didn't.

I dont know if the competition is weaker than in the year Hull made the GF but what I do know is there were select teams that were in a league of their own and had to battle it out among the super super league clubs i.e.Hull, Saints, Leeds, Bradford. But now with the league and teams much closer together I guess its actually harder to come nearer the top due to everyone being able to beat everyone else (barring Celtic). Its more to do with consistency and fitness than how silky the skills on show are as I believe it was back in 2006.
I know Saints were missing some top players a few weeks back but they still had a pretty strong team out there and we put a decent score on them and should have had more points on the board, the next game we struggle away at Salford who are not a great side. It just shows you have a bad week and any club can take a decent side close.
I will admit though Saints are having a transition period and still joint top which says a heck of a lot about them and their strength in depth or about their flex in the salary cap they've been alowed to get away with for years gone by!!!
