OK, so McNamara outcoached us.
But thanks to McNamara, Fulton's kicks were charged down because they were telegraphed and because Warrington were ready for his bombs. They were on top of him immediately.

It had an awful lot to do with the coaches. Smith brought something different to the table with Warrington and Brown wanted us to do the same thing we've always been doing.
Look at the way he instructed Briers to keep well away from the ruck when Warrington wanted to kick? Monahan was at first receiver and stood waiting for our forwards to rush him, then he simply passed to Briers who had all the time in the World. They did that to us the whole game.
I'm not knocking Brown per-se. He's a good coach. But Smith is most definitely 1-0 up.
