You were first up on the sports news on Granada Reports today. Looked like a really impressive turnout over there in Wire land! Lots of very happy, noisy and wet people!

Must say the cup should NEVER have been moved from the front, There was an old disabled guy near me and I suggested he crossed the road to stand near some kids as the cup may be shown to them, His legs wouldnt let him cross and exactly when the bus came the cup was on the opposite side. I was gutted for him.
Was a brilliant turn out by all of the fans and "glory hunters".
Rain or not we loved it, and so did the players. Although I did hear Mathers say just before the coach left, "No boys its raining! this wasn't part of the plan" which made me laugh, and Kev Penny getting the songs going, haha what a legend, although when he picked the cup up I was terrified he was going to drop it!
And as for Jimmy Lowes, as he was headed for the stadium, a few people shouted for him to get on the bus, he said no and pointed to his wife and kid.

Same old Wire fans. We win a trophy and have a massive homecoming and you're still moaning.

Why dont they support the team/club all the time, it would make us more of a force in SL if they did.
Comments like this really irritate me. The HJ wouldn't fit an extra 15'000 people in anyway
You should be grateful the town turned out in force on both days to support the club.
