Sorry about this, but just trying to find out - are we likely (as things stand) to be playing away to Saints or Leeds 3 weeks today? And, win or lose, will it probably be another match the following Friday? Sorry.

No I meant either way will we definitely be playing away and 3 weeks today? (i.e. are all Saints/Leeds games on Fridays inc Play-off matches?).

I understand that all the games are being shown by Sky, so you can't really plan until they announce their schedule

Ah right, cheers. I appreciate it's great being in SL and I wouldn't change it for the world, but what a pain in the a$$ it can be with Sky sometimes. Thinking back, we played Leeds away last year on a Sat night cos was on Sky (league not play-off though) so guess could be either night.

you will play leeds or saints on either the fri or sat

win and you get the week off and a home game in week 3 on either night

lose and you are at home in week 2 on either the fri or sat, then if you win that away in week 3 on either night

the only night that is set is the GF

If the league finished now you would play Saints away and Leeds would play Huddersfield. The two winners get a bye to week 3, the two losers have to play again. Meanwhile Wigan would play Cas and Wakey play Catalans. The two losers would be out and the two winners would play the two losers of the top 4 games in week two. (I'm not sure who would play who). The losers of these games will then be out and the winners would play the winners of You and Saints and Leeds and Hudds. The two winners would play in the final.

Or something like that.

I thought whoever is top of the league has the choice who they play out of 3rd and 4th?

I'm not sure tbh, I thought it was week three where the top sides get to choose who they play. fwiw I think it's a stupid system, whoever thought it up must have been on the white stuff at the time.
