You know what I mean though,National Leagues or Superleague.Granted those three examples were all Super League.

Not sure about Kirke and his arrangements at York previously as I never remember if he was ours or theirs to start with but wasn't he spotted/taken on and loaned back to York for a spell under some kind of arrangement with York,a bit like we are now going to have with Whitehaven.

Didn't Ratu spend some time last season or the one before with Halifax?

I know we've had a few real fringe fringe players sent out on loan to Hunslet/Doncaster and the like, but they've ended up going completely, the likes of Gale etc

Hall's defence isn't great but he'll always score more points than he'll concede.

TBH my man of the tournament last night was Jodie Broughton. He was awesome.

check that link for his hat-trick against quins last week, his second was superb centre play

I know.As I say I rate him and think he's a decent future if he knuckles down to some hard work and has his head in the right place

Broughton last night was quality i agree, there were a group of 5 of us stood together and when he picked the ball up ran past 3 hull players on the outside all 5 of us at the same time turned to one another and went "JESUS    !!!!" or words to that effect  That lad has rockets in his boots

Just messing.

Leeds loanees to the Championship tend to stay there moreso than those who go to Super League sides.

Ratu could be a notably exception. We'll see.

I was commenting to my other half that it would have been interesting to see Broughton in the 'fastest man' race.

Until last night I didn't think he was in the 'flyer' bracket in terms of pace.

I know Hull's Jack(?) Briscoe ran in the race and I think came 4th or 5th? Not sure if he was on the pitch at the same time as Broughton in the Final but from watching all the games i'd say that Broughton was much faster than Briscoe

Darren Alberts was 11.365

Although to be fair, Darren's was over 100m whereas they only ran 90m last night.

It was amusing to see the ignorant Hull fans booing him ....

My player-of-the-tournament was the little kid wearing red & black wearing No.6 during the first Under 8s session in front of the North Stand ..... They looked to be playing 13-a-side on those small squares and you know what those games are like, stop the kid with the ball and it's an eight man tackle as the rest of the team all goes flying in. About a quarter of the way from his own line, a little jink and a sizeable amount of pace, he wove through the whole of the other team to score.

Even at the age of 7 / 8, that kid 'has got it' and Leeds could do worse than to keep tabs on his development over the next couple of years.
