I never thought they would become as good as they have. I always supported them. You know, like I have been doing this past week with Worrall.

By that same token then I have always supported every player that I've seen turn out for Leeds. All they had to do was pull on the jersey. And that includes Worrall.

So EVERY player that has played for Leeds has gone on to exceed your expectations of them?
Why did you give up on Worrall and Gibson so quickly then?

Ryan Hall has this season, lets see if he can continue to exceed my expectations going forward. In an ideal world I'd have gone with Smith on the right and found that elusive right centre.

I didn't give up on them for 2010, I simply made a judgement based on their performances over their Leeds careers just as I would with any player.
My judgement is that Leeds can and need to do better. We'll see if it's a judgement the club agree with.

Before you get too giddy remember Leeds offered Gibson a contract which he rejected. Maybe he feels he can do better?
Also, Leeds releasing a player is not always the best yard-stick of that players potential and or ability.
Someone on this very web site reminded me earlier that Leeds chose to release Raynor and retain Cummins.

As neither of us are privy to the details of the contract it's a moot point to speculate what it might contain.

Agreed they've made 'apparent' errors of judgement in the past, although as ever they are in possession of all the facts, while we're in possession of very few. If there are no underlying problems though learn from those past mistakes and don't repeat them.

I didn't speculate. I simply reminded you they'd offered him one.
If you want prime facie evidence they had a desire to keep him there it is.

Leeds and Gibson were unable to agree terms and (as the current speculation has it) he will end up at Salford, following the path probably last trod by Phil Hassan.
I'm sure Gibson will have evaluated all his options and gone with the best for him and his young family.
It can't be too often that Leeds have looked the poorer option given his rumoured choice.
Be fair, in comparison with your tinyrod you'd be impress with anything.
Point well swerved, and I quote "Bailey should not be seen near a Leeds shirt again this season".
GUFFAW!!
You, my gym instructed chubster, pointless blip on the legal barrel uttered those words, oh yes indeedy, what a pleasure it is to expose a nice guy of the highest order.
