Saints scrum half Lee Gaskell was the outstanding player IMO.
That ref call was one of the most shocking I have ever seen. It nearly brought a result for saints other than one conversion.
Lee Gaskell was the best player on the field by some distance.
For Wigan, Burke, Thornley and the number 2 whose name I forget all had really good games. Thornley is the most promising IMO. I thought Logan Tomkins distribution was spot on but I did not notice him doing much up the middle.
Great result for Wigan, they looked chuffed at the end.
