We don't need another Hock

People should also come around to the fact we are not signing someone for next year.

Has anyone thought though that with Flanagan off to wests we should try and get one of their players to come here?

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league

Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate

Do not think he has any other convictions against his name.

As far as i had been told the visa problem was the issue that prevented him signing, but according at the other poster it has made the weekly rugby press in Australia that he has signed.

Personally doubt this to be true because of the visa situation and also down to the fact the Cowboys have already lost Tronc.

I hope what you have heard/read is true. Webb is the exact type of player Wigan need to be targeting.

Not claiming any inside knowledge, just repeating what has apparently been written in the Aussie version of League Express, given his conviction and the current visa situation i would say him coming to SL is highly unlikely.

Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.

I know mate, just hope it isn't an Aussie journo doing the usual 'Wigan are interested and he has signed' rumour.

Well obviously Ellis would be a dream but I mean one of their young players in the same position would be great.

I hope league freak does not read this, he would vomit at the thought of the super league stopping the development of a younger player.

The deal was done weeks ago, we can't go back and change it really.

He'll be too busy seeking pyschiatric help after the cricket result.

Either that, or he's looking for the same hypnotist who managed to convince him that all those WCC results didn't happen.

It's not about changing the deal but we now have space for a player of a similar wage so maybe a young promising player from aus would be the way to go.

So to set things straight.

We've lost Gareth Hock.

Might lose Bailey.

Have lost Flanagan.

And we're signing nobody.

So instead of strengthening the front row we have in fact gone weaker.

Excellent
