True enough, our match report just got me though. Why make sure there was space for Potter to whinge about the fact he was outcoached by Browns assistant - sorry, that we slowed the PTB down - and not give any comments from Baloo?
As for us slowing the PTB down, 50% of Saints drives were called as surrender tackles, the only ones slowing the game down were Saints. If they had run to break the tackle, it would have been a faster game.
That's it, they surrender because they want to play the ball quickly but if they surrender then that allows us an extra second because we have won the collision. If they really want a quick PTB they need to win the collision and you don't do that by surrendering.
If London is Athens, Yorkshire is Sparta, a tougher community and proud of it.

i know this isn't really relevant to the point you're making, but on this bit, can i just apologise in relation to said wire fan who's the biggest bandwidth/oxygen knocking about at the moment. It was cringeworthy when i saw he'd been spamming the boards, and does appear to be one of them people who really doesn't 'get' either partisan message boards, or the internet.

For £1.30 you want to be able to read it, even if some of it is rubbish!
To an extent I think there is some bias there but it's only certain reporters. There's some good stuff in there today in a couple of articles IMO. The letters page though, some times it drives me nuts.
Empty vessels make the most noise though, don't they. And, it seems, write garbage to the RLE. I suppose the only way to combat it is to write in as well.

The bottom line is there is a small but rather loud percentage of Rugby League supporters who don't like change! Any change, be it the style of play, the clubs league position or a smaller clubs success, it causes a kind of whining hysteria with a touch of the green eyed monster disguised as a crusade for the greater good of the game, when really it is nothing more than a cover for a few stale brains out of their comfort zone! In their 'league utopia' we'll have the usual challenge cup finalists every year, Grand finalist must be one of the big clubs. Lower teams must roll over as required for the 'big clubs'. and let them put fifty past you. No-one can lay on apart from those that have been doing it for years, and use the so-called tactics of the giants' unless it's your own team doing it, then its fine!
Transfer fees: Real Madrid do it! Manchester United do it! now the Huddersfield Giants do it!
