Indeed.
So please bear in mind that this country's laws of defamation cover both individuals and incorporated bodies (ie businesses). So please can everyone refrain from posting any potentially actionable accusations.

Thanks.
I'm well aware of that, hence I haven't posted anything defamatory and only what has been stated openly by the UKBA itself.

Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”
There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back! Oooh-to… Oooh-to-be… Oooh-to-be-a… WOOLY!

I dont ' hate ' the RFL
I do think that SL is poorer for not having a different team in it every year , but i can understand why
I do think that the RFL are clueless when it comes to trying to understand what sport in general and RL in particular is all about
I find it laughable that you suggest having a new whipping boys in the league every year will actually improve the competition. Take Leigh for example as proof that not any club can come up to play the big boys.

I'm not so sure they would with the team they can field at the mo!!!!
But given they have a a massive sky income to recruit a full time squad of quality I would expect any SL club to beat any championship club!
But the notion that they are the "Big Boys"! Well the use of that cliche and your interpretation of it made me laugh out loudly!!!
One day maybe, but most definately not yet!! Their situation is still precarious for now, tho I don't believe it will be should the club escape sanctions from the UKBA, cos I douby the RFL will do anything. Their rediness to distance themselves from the "departure Gate" fiasco or accept any responsibility is frightening. I believe they want a very large carpet and a brush!
Big boys!!!!! aye, if you like!

ATEOD you can all blame the RFL for the situation but lets be honest your clubs have done nothing in trying to match ambition shown to fans. A suposedley big name like Featherstone shouldn't have problems getting crowds of 3000 together, infact if your own supporters supported your club maybe you'd have a chnace of super league.
The main reason franchising was introduced was because of the small clubs these days in the championship used to spend more then they earn in trying to stay up, which more then likely ends in disaster. Leigh have never recovered from there one season in SL, Salford seem to be the yo - yo boys and Widnes was one of those who just used to make up the numbers. Only certain clubs are upto it to have the ability to realistically become a force in SL and most of the championship clubs are not ready. Sure Leigh have a new stadium but can they muster up the support or attract the players ?
Rugby League can't be compared to football and Rugby League isn't a sport which can accomodate promotion and relegation. I don't personally think Celtic was the right choice this time round but having them in the league can attract more money to the sport then why not take it or give it a try. The sport is a business now and we can't let sentiment get in the way, regardless of whether its fair or not.

Can I be so bold as to ask your age and how long you have watched the game??
I may be mis-judging you here, but your post appear to lack an astonishing lack of insight into what the concept of SL, the removal of P+R, an amazingly apathetic approached by the RFL to clubs outside Sl and the 'expansion at any cost approach' has done for fans outside SL!
The removal of hope of playing in SL has had a massive impact on the Championship clubs as fans of clubs of many years now have a more "why bother" approach.
The lack of any empathy in your statement or acknowledgement of what has been achieved by the clubs you dismiss so readily, and the potential to achieve again but for the ridiculous way our game is now being managed. The public proclamations of how badly the crusaders have been managed this year resulting in the lastest fiasco fuels the notion that it wasn't right to include the crusaders when they did. I still believe it is certainly a system of apartheid the RFL are employing. It's just so wrong.

Talk You Bollox
Sort it out for yourself
The Celtic Crusaders cheated for the last 2/3 years
The club Knew about it
The RFL knew about it
Better still Richard Lewis and Nigel Woods Knew about it
Happy with that

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Do you know Starbug - I was writing my reply last night, feeling sheeite after our dismal offerings v Barrow and I was thinking to myself, "how can I word this"??
I didn't really want to offend but the post irked me and so gave a considered reply that just repeated old drivel that I've spouted time and time again in a tired old fashion.
I read your post this morning before I set off to work and I thought to myself - "why didn't I just write that"??????
Three words encapsulating all my feelings as they were last night!!!
SOmetimes the direct approach says far more than the sheeeite I sometimes write!!
Keep smiling - hope you lot survive this season. Always had a soft spot for Leigh.
